Couple rescued after 46 hours lost at sea
Two divers who went missing for 46 hours after a dive in the northern Red Sea have spoken out for the first time about their remarkable story of survival. British diving instructor Andrew Smith, 34, and divemaster trainee Milly Geyskens, 36, from Belgium, spent one night on a reef and one night inside a wreck before eventually being rescued by Bedouin fishermen.
The couple were diving on the Kingston wreck at Shag Rock when they were pulled away from the reef by a strong current. A full air-and-sea search operation was launched after the liveaboard VIP One - to which no blame has been imputed - reported the divers missing when they failed to surface.
