a soldier’s hands, a father’s love

My brother is serving in Iraq and missed his son’s birth by 6 days. He was able to stay home for 14 days then back to Iraq for another six months. This small father and son series is so special to our whole family. We ‘re lucky we live in a time where he was granted leave at all.
Update: My brother returned with the New Orleans National Guard unit in early Sept. They arrived home about two weeks after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the New Orleans area. He and his young family are in the process of relocating to TN. Please make a donate to the Red Cross hurricane relief fund.
